This is a really nice thought. I have seen this prove fatal to some people in leadership roles.

You’re better off focusing your effort on being a more palatable ‘you’, than a less annoying one. As in, make sure the sweet bits of you are so delicious they forget about the tang of the sharp bits, rather than just trying to turn down the tang.
